Christina Westrope

Christina Westrope is a fine artist from Northern California, inspired by nature and the intricacies of human experience. Holding an Associate's degree in Studio Arts (2020), they create emotionally charged oil paintings of female figures that emphasize emotional depth. Through the use of oil on canvas, Westrope intertwines themes of nature, identity, and emotion, inviting viewers to enter another world while also encouraging personal reflection. The layers of emotion and meaning are intentionally ambiguous, providing space for individual interpretation and connection. Their hope is that, through their work, viewers can acknowledge the complexities of life, find solace in shared experiences, and discover the profound beauty that can emerge from life’s more challenging moments.
